The very first one-size pocket nappy has become a popular choice for good reason. It adjusts very simply to fit most babies from birth to potty training (approx. 8lb - 35lb/3.6kg - 15.9kg), and parents can easily adjust the absorbency to make the nappy super-trim for playtimes, and superabsorbent when needed.

As well as practicality, this nappy is available in pretty pastel shades and in the cuddliest Minky fabric in solid colours or exciting prints.

The Wonderoo V2 has a soft and stretchy waterproof outer that feels like fabric on the outside, but keeps wetness and mess inside. Next to baby's skin is the softest microfleece that allows wetness to pass through, away from baby's skin, and "locks" it into the absorbent pad or "insert" inside. The fleece dries quickly, keeping baby dry and comfy. There is an opening at the back of the "pocket" formed by these two layers into which the absorbent pad or "insert" is easily inserted or removed.

The Wonderoo V2 is supplied complete with it's own unique
3 stage insert systemTM:

Stage 1: the small, contoured insert is made from three layers of microterry, and is soft and quick to absorb, ideal for small babies.
Stage 2: the large rectangular insert is made from six layers of soft, stretchy and fast-absorbing bamboo terry. Bamboo is an eco-friendly crop to grow and this fabric has been specially chosen to be highly absorbent and trim. Although bamboo is generally felt to be slow to dry, this insert unfolds for swift drying. It fastens together with snaps to make it easy to insert into the nappy and keep it neatly folded when in use.
Stage 3: the two inserts can be snapped together to provide super-absorbency for older babies, heavy wetters or for night time. There are two (coloured) snap positions, enabling you to put the booster/small insert where it is most required for your child, often to the front for boys (blue snap), and to the centre for girls (pink snap). Sizing

These nappies are so adjustable that you can get a good fit for the majority of babies most of the time. For more information about sizing and adjustment click here. Wonderoos V1 were reknowned for giving a good fit on big toddlers, but being bulky on small babies. The V2 has retained the good fit at the upper end of the weight range, but the trimmer cut means it's not bulky on small babies.

Options
The Wonderoo V2 is currently available with either a supersoft and stretchy polyester knit outer (PUL) in 5 colours: Sunshine, Soft Blue, Soft Green, Seaspray and White. It is also available in a soft short pile minky (which has a silky fur feel like a cuddly toy) in 4 solid colours: Sea Green, Bluebell, Plum Red, and Ice Cream; and 5 fabulous prints: Blue Spots, Pink Spots, Citrus Spots, Khaki Spots and Summer Flowers.

Wonderoos can be purchased separately or in ready-made kits. The Wonderoo V2 Starter Kit contains everything needed to start out using your real nappies, including wipes, flushable liners and a wet nappy storage/tote bag (so you won't need a bucket). The Wonderoo V2 Full Time Kit contains everything needed to use Wonderoos and wipes full time, including a large wet nappy storage bag. These kits can be combined to provide a comfortable number of nappies for use all the time.

Advantages & disadvantages of Wonderoo V2 compared with other one-size nappies. One-size-fits-most and works out as a very economical choice despite initial impressions of it being expensive. Lightweight and quick drying. Good adjustability and neat fit. Wide choice of colours/patterns and fabrics. Good-sized pocket to allow maximum absorbency and easy stuffing. As with all one-size nappies, The Wonderoo V2 may be outgrown sooner than potty training on larger or stocky toddlers. (A free extender will be available shortly for those few babies that do outgrow it.) Popper fastenings will not rub baby or cause wear and tear of the fabrics, making these nappies durable. No seams or PUL against baby's skin so very comfortable. A reliable pocket nappy for night time as well as daytime.
Suggested inserts The Wonderoo V2 comes complete with it's own 3-stage inserts (microterry and bamboo). Boosters will not be required for day time use. Some babies may require additional absorbency for night times. We recommend you use a Wonderoos insert with a hemp or cotton insert underneath such as the hemp Green Acre design insert.
What else will I need? Nothing else is essential to use this system, though flushable liners can make solids disposal easier.
Second hand value New, but likely to be good.
Care Machine wash at 40ºC (or up to 100ºC if necessary, though this is rarely necessary). Hang to dry or tumble dried on low heat if prefered, though they dry very quickly. The large part of the insert will dry overnight if opened out and pegged onto a line or airer in a warm place. Do not use greasy rash cream. Click for more care information.
