Washable Wipes
Washable wipes are a big unexpected money-saver, saving around £8 a month per baby compared with disposable wipes! If you are using cloth nappies washable wipes are no extra effort as they can be stored and washed with the nappies. They are much gentler on baby than perfume- and preservative-soaked disposable types. Click on the link for more information about using washable baby wipes. Soft fleece/terrycloth washable wipes
These wipes offer excellent value for money. They have cream or white fleece on one side and soft terry on the other. The fleece side gives a nice smooth, gentle wipe which is ideal when baby is just wet or has a sore bottom. The unbleached terry cloth on the other side is ideal for removing the stickier stuff! Size approx. 19 x 14cm. Effective and durable, these washable wipes can also double up as a small booster. One or two wipes are often all that is needed. Available in packs of ten (2-3 packs should be ample for two days' nappy changes). Currently available inn unbleached terry with white fleece.

Thick multi-coloured terry/fleece washable wipes

Due to limited stock, the colours available are fairly limited. We currently have blue, green, grey, taupe, and brown available.Made from the same luxuriously thick and soft bathtowel terry as Huggles, these wipes made by 'Nappies by Minki' makes a useful wipe for hands and faces or bottoms. They are available in a random assortment of attractive colours with a single layer of terry on one side and with a layer of thick soft white fleece on the other side. The long-loop pile eqyptian cotton terry is ideal for gently removing the stickier stuff. The fleece side gives a nice smooth, gentle wipe which is ideal when baby is just wet or has a sore bottom. Size approx. 19 x 15cm. Can also double up as a small booster. Available singly or in sets of ten. One or two wipes are often all that is needed each nappy change and you will probably need 20 - 30 wipes for full time use. We also have a washable wipes starter set with these wipes in a set.

Mother-ease stretchy terry wipe / baby flannel
Soft, gentle baby wipe or flannel
These Motherease wipes / flannels are made from soft, stretchy, short-pile terry. Unlike ordinary cotton terry flannels, they maintain their softness with repeated washing and drying and remain gentle on baby's skin. As a wipes they are a nice big size, meaning that you will probably only need one per nappy change. 15 - 20 wipes will be sufficient for 2-3 days' nappy changes. Size approx. 22cm x 22cm. Available in white only at present. Made from 85% cotton, 15% polyester.

Fragrant handmade soap that is perfect for making a convenient, antibacterial sweet-smelling wipes solution. Simply drop these small squares of soap into a cup or spray bottle of warm water to dissolve.

This mild glycerin soap features olive oil infused with plantain and chickweed herbs to help clear skin irritations. Tea tree oil is added for its antifungal and antibacterial properties, keeping wipes water clean. Relaxing lavender essential oil calms your baby and gives your nursery a floral scent.

A three-ounce box makes approximately 50 cups of wipes solution and can be made one cup at a time using 1 bit for 2 cups. That is over 14 litres!!

Earth Friendly Baby wipes have been made with mild ingredients including organic chamomile and calendula to gently cleanse and soothe baby's delicate skin. These biodegradable baby wipes are ideal for when out and about. They are environmentally responsible without compromising on quality. Soft and gentle for baby, they are made with aloe vera for sensitie skin and are free from alcohol, fragrance and colour. Dermatologically tested (and not tested on animals) and pH balanced. Suitable for use by vegans. Testing has proven that they take 6-12 months in a biologically active landfill site to reach full biodegradation.

These baby wipes are large and gentle and can be purchased in resealable packs of 72 pop-up wipes or a handy travel pack of 24. Suitable for use on bottoms, hands and faces etc.
