There are lots of reasons why women choose to use reusable sanitary wear - increased comfort, decreased cost and impact on the environment. Disposable pads, especially of post-partum thickness, are often stiff and uncomfortable, and over the years create a significant volume of waste that ends up in landfill too. Washable, stay-dry feminine hygiene products
Mommy's Touch Mama Pads are made from three layers of super absorbent and soft cotton sherpa. They topped with a layer of black or white super soft micro-chamois to coordinate with your underwear, keep you feeling dry and comfortable and resist stains. These san pro pads have a layer of soft waterproof PUL fabric to guard against leaks.

Mommy's Touch Mama Pads are slim but long enough to give good protection for daytime or overnight whether you sleep on your stomach or back. The whole pad is sewn together for simplicity. Simply fasten the poppers on the 'wings' around your underwear to keep them securely in place. Mama Pads fasten into a neat parcel to fit into your bag.

Available in a choice of a solid colours of outer layer or with a layer of pretty brocade fabric on the outside to give these san pro pads a luxurious, silky feel. Size approx. 27cm x 9cm (10.5" x 3.5").

Organic Cotton Sanpro pads from Imse Vimse - Flexible Two Part System

Imse Vimse washable sanitary pads are made of 100% natural, pure, environmentally-friendly cotton that is guaranteed free from chemicals. This gentle fabric allows your skin to breathe, helping to keep you feeling fresh and healthy. The Imse Vimse two part system consists of an outer pocket, with wings, which is secured into place around your underwear with a small plastic popper fastening. The pocket is reinforced with a hidden layer of thin and silent polyurethane laminate to make it leakproof.

You can then select the required absorbency level of pads you put into the pocket to suit your flow and you can add more than one pad for heavier days. Imse Vimse Flexible 2-part kit contents: 1 mini pad/panty liner, 6 regular pads, 2 outer pockets for regular pads, 1 night pad, 1 outer pocket for night pads, 1 fabric bag to keep the set in. Two or three sets will probably be sufficient for one menstrual period. The pockets will likely not need changing with every pad change.

Laundering Store the pads in a small bucket or waterproof bag. Before machine-washing, machine or bucket rinse the pads in cold water with some salt or Imse Vimse's special laundry soap. Machine washing at 60°C should be sufficient (though the pads can be washed at up to 90°C if required). Hang to dry or tumble dry on low heat.

Organic cotton sanpro pads that fasten around underwear.
Made from the same gentle fabrics as the flexible two-part system, the Imse Vimse All in One System is a little quicker and more convenient to use. Each pad has wings that fasten the pad in place around your underwear with a simple and secure plastic popper. The pads are available as slim Panty Liners, Regular or Night pads. The Regular and Night pads are reinforced with a hidden thin and silent layer of polyurethane laminated polyester to make them leakproof.

They are available packaged in sets of three in natural cotton colour. To ensure enough pads for an entire menstrual period you will probably require: four packets of regular pads, 2 packets of night pads and 2 packets of panty liners.

Laundering Store the pads in a small bucket or waterproof bag. Before machine-washing, machine or bucket rinse the pads in cold water with some salt or Imse Vimse's special laundry soap.
