Ordering from within the UK

Delivery

There are 2 choices for delivery when ordering from the UK.

Standard UK delivery: All parcels under £100 will be sent by Royal Mail, all over £100 sent by Parcelforce courier (2 days delivery). Expect parcels 1-3 working days after order.

Express UK delivery: All parcels will be sent by Parcelforce courier (24 hour delivery). Expect parcels on the 2nd working day after order.

When ordering, please choose your delivery method as UK standard or UK express at the checkout.

The costs of postage are shown in the tables below. Postage costs to the Isle of Man, The Channel Islands and non-mainland UK destinations are charged at the same rate as for the UK.

Payment

We can accept payment by Cheque, PayPal, Debit Card (e.g. Switch) or Credit Card online (through the secure server at WorldPay), by Debit Card or Credit Card over the phone or by Bank Transfer (details given on request).

Ordering from within Europe (but outside the U.K.)

Delivery

We are happy to deliver to the rest of Europe. The cost of postage is slightly higher than in the U.K., so we do make slightly higher postage charges. This is reflected in the table of costs below. When ordering please state your delivery method as standard European at the checkout.

Payment

Please note that if you are ordering from Europe we accept payment by Credit Card (through the secure server at WorldPay), PayPal or International Bank Transfer (please email us for details).

 

Ordering from within The Channel Islands (Jersey & Guernsey)
Postage to Jersey and Guernsey is by Royal Mail, and the same postage rates apply as for the UK. VAT is not chargable to purchasers resident in the Channel Islands. Most of our products (real nappies and baby clothing, bibs etc.) are Zero VAT rated in the UK so most of the time there will be no VAT charge. If your order includes items that do attract VAT in the UK (e.g. nappy buckets) this will automatically be added to your order by our shopping cart. However the VAT you pay will be refunded to you (via the method you paid) when your order is processed. Alternatively you can contact us after you have made your order and we will send you an ammened amount to pay and give instructions on how to pay via your chosen method.

Ordering from outside Europe
If you would like to order from outside the UK and Europe please contact us first for a quote of the postage costs.

Despatch
We aim to despatch orders the next working day after the order is placed. When we do not achieve this we will despatch within a maximum of three working days. If you pay by cheque we reserve the right to despatch your goods after your cheque has cleared (please allow an additional five working days for this).

Because next day despatch is usual we do not normally notify you when your order has been despatched. In the case where a delay is likely or an item is out of stock we will notify you of the estimated delivery time. If you urgently need an item and want to check we can despatch it immediatley please contact us before making the order.

Delivery
U.K.
Standard UK
Most orders are sent First Class (this is next day delivery for most UK destinations). Heavier items are usually sent by Royal Mail Standard Parcels (delivery time 3-5 working days) or by courier. All orders over the value of £100 are sent by parcelforce 48 hour delivery.

To keep postage costs low we sometimes split orders into two or more parcels if this is more economical. If we do this the parcels will be marked 1/2, 2/2 etc. so that you know how many parcels to expect. Some heavy items may be sent by Royal Mail second class.

Express UK
All orders are sent by Parcelforce 24 hour delivery. Most orders are collected next day after order and so will reach you on the second working day after order

Europe
For European destinations most orders are sent by Royal Mail Airmail. Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery. Heavier/bulkier items are sent by courier. Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery.

Items ordered that are out of stock
We keep comfortable stock levels on all items and next day despatch is usual. Where this is not possible we aim to despatch within 3 working days. However in rare cases, such as where there is an unexpected supply problem, we suggest that you allow up to 28 days between placing your order and receiving your goods. We will of course contact you if there will be a significant delay with despatch. If you are not happy with the anticipated delay we will to offer you a full refund. Where possible we will give notification on the site of any anticipated supply delays.
