Despatch
We send all orders the same working day (if placed before noon) or the next working day. Because same or next day despatch is usual we do not normally notify you when your order has been despatched. In the case where a delay is likely or an item is out of stock we will notify you of the estimated delivery time. If you urgently need an item and want to check we can despatch it immediately, we are happy for you to contact us before you place the order if you wish to. If you pay by cheque we reserve the right to despatch your goods after your cheque has cleared (please allow an additional five working days for this).

Items ordered that are out of stock
Although we are normally fully stocked of all products, occasionally demand exceeds supply. If you order an item which is out of stock we will notify you of the expected despatch date and send the item by then. There is, of course, no extra charge for further despatches if we temporarily run out of a product you choose. When stock is low on a particular item it will show up as red in your shopping cart. You may still order the product, but it may be temporarily out of stock. In such cases all instock items will be despatched immediately, and we will notify you of an expected date for the out of stock item. Ordering an out of stock item will not delay the rest of your order being despatched at all.

Ordering from within the UK

Delivery
When ordering from the UK you may choose to have your items sent by our standard delivery of express delivery:

Standard UK delivery: All parcels under £100 will be sent by Royal Mail, all over £100 sent by Parcelforce courier (2 days delivery). Expect parcels 1-3 working days after placing your order.

Express UK delivery: All parcels will be sent by DPD courier (24 hour delivery). Expect parcels on the 2nd working day after placing your order.

When ordering, please choose your delivery method at the checkout. The costs of postage are shown below. Postage costs to the Isle of Man, The Channel Islands and non-mainland UK destinations are charged at the same rate as for the UK.

Payment
We can accept payment by Cheque, PayPal, Debit Card (e.g. Switch) or Credit Card online (through the secure server at WorldPay), by Debit Card or Credit Card over the phone or by Bank Transfer (details given on request).

Ordering from within Europe (but outside the U.K.)

Delivery / Entrega / Livraison / Consegna
We are happy to deliver to the rest of Europe. The cost of postage is slightly higher than in the U.K., so we make slightly higher postage charges. This is reflected in the table of costs below, shown in Stirling and with an approximate guide in Euro*. When ordering please state your delivery method as standard European at the checkout.

*Important. For Orders going to Norway and Switzerland you will be charged postage as above. However due to the unusually high postage charges to these countries we may need to contact you and ask for additioanl postage. If this is the case we will keep you regularly informed.

* Please note that the order value and postage costs given in Euros are based on the exchange rate of £1 Stirling = 1.10 Euro. The exchange rate changes all the time and different payment providers charge different exchange rates. We are therefore unable to give the exact costs but this is chart will give you some idea of the delivery costs for your order.

* ESP : Por favor note que los gastos de franqueo y valor de orden dados en Euros están basados en el tipo de cambio de Stirling de 1 libra esterlina = 1.10 euros. Los cambios de tipo de cambio todo el tiempo y abastecedores de pago diferentes cobran tipos de cambio diferentes. Please note that if you are ordering from Europe we can accept payment by Credit Card (through the secure server at WorldPay), PayPal or International Bank Transfer (please email us for details).

F : Notez s'il vous plaît que si vous ordonnez de l'Europe nous pouvons accepter le paiement par la Carte de crédit (par le serveur sûr à WorldPay), PayPal ou le Virement bancaire international (envoyez-nous s'il vous plaît e-mail pour les détails).

Ordering from within The Channel Islands (Jersey & Guernsey)
Postage to Jersey and Guernsey is by Royal Mail, and the same postage rates apply as for the UK. VAT is not chargable to purchasers resident in the Channel Islands. Most of our products (real nappies and baby clothing, bibs etc.) are Zero VAT rated in the UK so most of the time there will be no VAT charge. If your order includes items that do attract VAT in the UK (e.g. nappy buckets) this will automatically be added to your order by our shopping cart. However the VAT you pay will be refunded to you (via the method you paid) when your order is processed. Alternatively you can contact us after you have made your order and we will send you an ammened amount to pay and give instructions on how to pay via your chosen method.
