How many Nature Babies Stuffables nappies will I need?

The number of nappies you will need depends on the age of your baby and how often you intend to wash. Newborns may need to be changed up to 10 times a day! As your baby grows older this will reduce to 6-8 times, and an older toddler may only need 5 changes a day.

You will need two sizes of Nature Babies Stuffables from birth to potty (small and medium). Based on this 10 small, 7medium each day will be sufficient for most babies. Stuffables can be washed with other light coloured items at 60ºC and dry quickly, so it is possible to wash the nappies daily and hang them in a warm place to dry ready for the next day. This way you will only need enough for one day. However, you may find it more convenient to have enough for two days and do a 'just nappies' wash every two days. It is also worth bearing in mind that the medium size will probably fit far longer than the small size and so will get more wear.
