Magic-Alls All in One nappy

A brand new 'new generation' all-in-one nappy from The Wonder Works Baby Company. Magic-alls are as easy to put on and as trim fitting as a disposable nappy, with a 'stay-dry' inner layer to help keep baby comfortable. The outer layer is made from a soft waterproof laminated polyester (PUL) to keep all wetness and mess inside. The inside layer next to baby's skin is made from soft fluffy polyester suedette which acts as a stay-dry layer, allowing wetness through into the core but drying quickly to maintain a dry layer against the skin. The core of the nappy is made from three layers of super-absorbent microterry.

The usual disadvantage of all-in-one nappies is that they are slow to dry. However, this nappy overcomes this because the absorbent core is made from microterry which is much lighter weight and quicker drying that cotton. Magic-alls are much quicker to dry than other all in ones and are even quicker to dry than the slower-drying shaped, two-part nappies. The containment at the legs is also excellent for an all-in-one nappy, with elasticised legs cuffs that sit snuggly against the leg. The leg cuffs are entirely lined with fluffly polyester suedette to make them gentle against baby's skin. The waist also has gentle covered elastic at the back to prevent any unwanted escapes! Magic-alls fasten with highly adjustable poppers around the waist which are made from poly-resin and are guaranteed for the life of the nappy.

Ideal for quick changes when you are out and about or for when someone used to disposable nappies will be changing your baby's nappies. All in ones are not usually recommended as a full time nappy option due to being slow to dry, but these are quick enough drying to make a viable full-time option.

Sizing
Magic-alls are available in four sizes, though most babies will only need three sizes from birth to potty (small-large).

Extra Small fits approx. 5 - 10lb (2.3 - 4.5Kg)
Small fits approx. 8- 15lb (3.6 - 6.8Kg)
Medium fits approx. 15 - 25lb (6.8 - 11.4Kg)
Large fits approx. 25 - 40lb (11.4 - 18.2Kg)

Advantages & disadvantages of Magic-alls compared with other all-in-one nappies: very quick drying for an all-in-one and lightweight. Neat, trim fit. Good containment. Relatively expensive as a full time nappy option but for ultra-convenience may be worth it? Not the most absorbent nappy and approx. 50% babies will need a booster for longer periods. Not a first choice night nappy. Durable nappies that will last well and stay looking good. Unique among mass produced all-in-one nappies in having a stay-dry suedette layer that resists staining.
What else will I need? No liners or waterproof wraps are needed with this system. Nothing else is essential to use this system. You may wish to use disposable liners, though they are not necessary. However, a significant number of babies will need a booster - we recommend the fleece-topped microterry booster for this nappy.
