Bitti Tutto Fitting, Sizing and Care Information
How to use and sizing
Washing and caring for your Bitti Tutto nappy
How to use the bitti tutto one size nappy
The bitti tutto can be used in four different size settings to suit
babies from newborn (approx 3kg) right through to a small child (20kg
plus).
Newborn/Small – Similar fit to the small
size bitti d’lish
Snap down the front of the nappy as far as it can go. Fasten the front
wings around hips to the required setting for your baby.
As most newborns don’t move around a lot, you may not need to
use the hip snaps, as the nappy will stay in place without wing droop,
you can use them if you wish, just fasten when you fasten each wing.
Soaker Pads: You can use either the long soaker snapped on the blue
snaps to the shortest setting, or the shorter soaker with the mini soaker
attached.
If your baby is a heavy wetter, you may prefer to use the long soaker
snapped on the blue snaps to the shortest setting, with the mini soaker
attached.
Medium – similar fit to the medium size bitti d’lish
Snap down the front of the diaper to the second smallest setting, leaving
one row of snaps showing. Fasten the front wings to the required setting
for your baby.
You may wish to use the hip snaps to help give a fantastic fit, simply
fasten the hip snaps at the same time you are fastening the front wings.
If using the hip snaps, you can tuck the hip snap cover away in the
hidden pocket.
Soakers Pads: You can adjust the soaker pads in any combination of
ways that you find best suits your baby, but we recommend starting with
the following:
For boys use the long soaker pad adjusted to the medium setting, with
the mini soaker attached, snapped in at the front (yellow to purple).
For girls use the long soaker pad adjusted to the medium setting, with
the mini soaker attached, snapped in at the back (yellow to yellow).
Large - Similar fit to the Large Size bitti d’lish
Snap down the front of the nappy to the top row of snaps, leaving two
rows of snaps showing.
If you are using the outer snaps around the waist and
don’t need the hip snaps, replace the hip snap covers, so no snaps
will touch your baby’s delicate skin.
Soakers Pads: You can adjust the soaker pads in any combination of
ways that you find best suits your baby, but we recommend starting with
the following:
For boys use the long soaker pad adjusted to the large setting, with
the mini soaker attached, snapped in at the front (yellow to purple).
For girls use the long soaker pad adjusted to the large setting, with
the mini soaker attached, snapped in at the back (yellow to yellow).
You can use the shorter soaker pad as well snapped in at the other end
if you find you need it.
For night time, you can use all three soaker pads, plus add an extra
itti bitti mini booster to the short soaker pad for extra absorbency.
Extra Large – Higher Rise and Larger Waist Adjustment than Large
Size bitti d’lish
Leave the front of the nappy unsnapped, so it is at the maximum length.
Fasten the front wings to the required setting for your baby.
You may wish to use the hip snaps to help give a fantastic fit, simply
fasten the hip snaps at the same time you are fastening the front wings.
If using the hip snaps, you can tuck the hip snap cover away in the
hidden pocket.
For boys use the long soaker pad adjusted to the largest setting, with
the mini soaker attached, snapped in at the front (yellow to purple).
For girls use the long soaker pad adjusted to the largest setting,
with the mini soaker attached, snapped in at the back (yellow to yellow).
You can use the shorter soaker pad as well snapped in at the other end
if you find you need it.
For night time, you can use all three soaker pads, plus add an extra
itti bitti mini booster to the short soaker pad for extra absorbency.
bitti tutto vs bitti d’lish
Whilst the bitti tutto is very trim for a one size nappy, however for
the ultimate in trimness and perfect fit, especially under clothes,
you just can’t go past the bitti
d’lish sized nappies.
You can interchange the soaker pads from bitti
d’lish and bitti tutto,
just bear in mind that you would need to use a medium bitti d’lish
booster set on the bitti tutto in a medium setting for example.

Washing and Caring
for you Itti Bitti Tutto
To wash your nappies, we recommend dry-pailing: simply remove any solids
and place the nappy into a bucket or wetbag until you have enough for
a load. You can rinse your Itti Bitti nappies, then place wet in the
nappy bucket if you prefer. There is no need to soak or use bleach/sanitising
products, as they can irritate sensitive skins and reduce the life of
the elastic in your nappies. We recommend you do a cold water rinse
cycle first, then a normal cold, warm or hot cycle with half the recommended
amount of detergent (half the amount recommended for heavy soiling)
and no fabric softener (do not use detergents which contain fabric softener,
(e.g. 2-in-1 products) as they can reduce absorbency). Should you have
any stains remaining after washing, leave the nappy in the sun for a
short time and the stains will be naturally bleached by the sun. Adding
a cup of soda crystals to your rinse or wash can help wtih this also.
Itti Bitti Tutto nappies can be dried in the drier or on the line or
airer indoors. If line drying we recommend that you hang nappies inside
out to reduce fading in the sun. Do not hang the nappies with the elastic
stretched out. It is not recommended to leave the snap in soakers
and boosters attached for washing/drying as there is the potential
for snaps to rip out and elastic to deteriorate quicker than normal
due to extra stretching from the weight of the soakers.
Fabrics have been prewashed at least once to remove excess dyes (bamboo
three times to help get your nappies to maximum absorbency), however
we recommend dark nappies be washed separately for the first
few washes. We recommended you prewash your new nappies at
least once prior to use, to remove any traces of manufacturing residues
on the fleece, which occasionally, can cause wee to run straight out
of the nappy. Natural fibre soakers and boosters will gain maximum
absorbency after 2-3 washes.
You may wish to do an occasional strip wash to move detergent residue,
which can sometimes cause build up and reduce the performance of your
nappies. One way to do this is to wash your nappies on 60ºC
, with a cup of soda crystals, then continue to rinse until there are
no more bubbles.
The suedecloth lining of Itti Bitti Tutto nappies and other synthetic
fabrics can pick up fluff, particularly from terry squares or other
cotton terry nappies. If you wish to avoid this, wash terries etc separately
from your coloured and synthetic fabric nappies, or use laundry bags
to reduce fluffing.
See the above info on using the Tutto nappy for help in assembling
your nappies after washing. The outer ‘shell’ of the Itti
Bitti Snap in AIO’s can be reused if it is not soiled, with an
extra set of soakers. Simply remove the wet soakers and snap in a new
set.
