The award-winning Imse Vimse one-size nappy is a incredibly simple yet effective nappy system. Being organic cotton they are ideal for those that want to have a natural fabric next to baby's skin. The nappies will fit most babies from birth to potty (approx 8 - 35lb) and their design allows them to hang to dry quickly. They are a two-part nappy system, requiring an outer waterproof wrap. Imse Vimse nappy covers are the ideal wrap for these nappies and fasten with highly adjustable hook and loop (like Velcro) panels. There are no poppers etc. to adjust with these nappies: simply fold down the back of the nappy to adjust the height of the nappy and tuck the front wings then the back wings round baby's waist and the outer wrap will hold the nappy in place. Imse Vimse one-size nappies are trim-fitting. Most babies will require a booster at some stage, but these are easily added, and some are supplied with the kit. This kit has been designed specifically to give a nappy kit option that offers amazing value for money as well as versatility. The kit contains nappies, boosters for use at night time or for longer periods, outer wraps and flushable liners. It contains the minimum number of nappies, wraps and boosters needed for full time use so that you don't buy more nappies than you need, and this set can be topped up with more nappies and wraps if, as and when required. You can select the wrap size you require now. As baby grows you will need to purchase bigger wraps, but these can be purchased as and when you need them, thus spreading the cost of your nappy kit over the first year or two. You will most likely not need to buy different sizes of nappy, as these nappies really do adjust to fit from birth to potty training. You may find your baby requires a few more nappies and or more boosters, and these can easily be purchased according to baby's needs. Nappy kit care
Follow these basic care instructions to ensure that the environmental impact of your nappies is significantly lower than that of disposable nappies: store in a dry bucket or bag, cold machine rinse, wash at 40 (unless you get staining when washing at 60 will help) with 1/2 recommended amount of eco-friendly non-bio detergent. Hang to dry with the attached booster hanging out and they will dry quickly.
