We are delighted to have the new Charlie Banana™ 2 in 1 nappy system at BabyKind, designed to give you more options for your nappying. For everyday use they are a reliable reusable pocket nappy system. For times when you need more convenience they can be used with disposable inserts.

Charlie Banana™ nappies are made up of a pocket or "shell" and removable absorbent pads. The nappy shell is formed by a soft and stretchy waterproof outer layer (PUL) and a soft fleece lining. The fleece lining goes next to baby's skin and keeps baby's bottom comfy and dry.

The pocket formed by the fleece lining and waterproof outer layers can then be stuffed with their absorbent microterry inserts/soaker pads to absorb the wetness. The inserts can be completely removed and they and the nappy "shell" are fully machine washable, making them ideal for everyday use.

There are of course some times when using washable nappies may be less convenient, such as when you are travelling, or if you are leaving your baby with carers who are not experienced with cloth nappies. At these times many parents consider using disposable nappies to make life more convenient.

However, with Charlie Banana™ there is no need to resort to disposable nappies - simply switch to using disposable and fully biodegradable pads inside the Charlie Banana nappy. Simply lay the biodegradable nappy pad on top of the fleece of the nappy shell, using the fleece flap at the front to hold it neatly in place, and use it like a disposable nappy. You can reuse the outer shell with a disposable pads several times if it is just wet, or until it is soiled. Unlike disposable nappies the pads are not encased in plastic, so you can use them in the knowledge that they won't still be around in landfill in 500 years!

Charlie Banana™ 2-in-1 sized nappies come in four sizes to allow you to choose the perfect fit for your little one: Extra-Small, Small, Medium and Large.

What else will I need? No liners or waterproof wraps are needed with these nappies, though you can use flushable liners if you wish to make removal of soilds easier. Each nappy shell comes complete with two microterry inserts to suit light or heavy wetters alike.
Suggested additional insert for night time If required, hemp inserts from Green Acre Design or Superbamboo work well to make this nappy last all night.
