Bimbles QD (Quick Dry)

First-size, fleece-lined shaped nappy by Easy Peasy Nappies. Price £5.95
This is a very cute little nappy from Easy Peasy Nappies ideal for newborn or premature babies. It is gives a neat trim fit on even very little babies and fits well under cute newborn clothing. The height of the nappy can be reduced by folding the front down and outwards and the wings cross over each other to make the waist as small as necessary. The nappy can be fastened with a Nappi Nippa or simply held in place with a snug-fitting wrap. Bimbles QD are made from a single layer of 90% cotton long-loop terry fabric, with a second strip of terry in the middle of the nappy, where more absorbency is needed. There is a layer of the softest white fleece lining the whole nappy to keep baby's skin dry. The fleece layer and the terry layer form a 'pocket' into which an attached fold out booster is inserted. The booster is made from two layers of terry so that once it is in place there is a total of four layers of terry where it is needed most. Gentle covered elastic at the back of the waist and at the legs gives a comfortable but snug fit to ensure good containment. Made in the UK.

The attached booster of the Bimble QD is pulled out to launder, making cleaning more efficient and speeding up the drying time. Ideal to allow a quick turnaround of your nappies at a time when you are likley to be using a lot of nappies per day. If you prefer to have cotton next to your baby's skin rather than the polyester fleece the nappy can simply be reversed so that the fleece is on the outside and the nappy can be held in place by a snug fitting wrap (Nappi Nippas will not grip onto fleece). Sizing
The Bimble QD will fit from around birth until around 15lb (6.8Kg), so depending on your baby's build it will last up until your baby is somewhere between 3 and 6 months old in our opinion (based on UK weight centile charts) . The wings allow good adjustability to fit babies of different shapes and sizes. The nappy absorbency can easily be increased if necessary toward the end of the weight range by placing boosters into the pocket.

Bimbles make an ideal first nappy for those who want to move on to a 'one-size' nappy but have a small baby or want to avoid eccessive bulk on a tiny baby.

It is suggested that this nappy, once outgrown, can be used to boost absorbency of other shaped nappies or pocket nappies. Whilst they can be used like this, they do not make the trimmest boosters however, due to their elasticated waist and legs causing them to 'bunch up'.
