Tots Bots Bamboozles are made from towelling fabric made from bamboo. Bamboo is a very 'green' crop as it has a very short growth cycle and is easily cultivated without the use of chemical pesticides. It is incredibly soft, feeling just like silk against the skin when new. This silky texture is lost a little through washing but it remains relatively soft. Bamboo terry also has natural antibacterial properties and is more absorbent than cotton and yet dries faster, making it an eco-friendly alternative to cotton. Bamboozles are made to a similar design to the original cotton Tots Bots, with two layers of bamboo terry and an additional two-layer booster flap attached with poppers which can be folded as required, with more fabric to the front for a boy and underneath for a girl. The booster can be removed for washing or otherwise. Bamboozles give a nice slim nappy, and are the trimmest nappies of the Tots Bots range.

Sizing
Bamboozles are available in two sizes. The approximate weight guidelines for the sizes are:
Size 1 8lb - 18lb (3.6Kg - 8.2Kg)
Size 2 18lb - 35lb (8.2Kg - 15.9Kg)
Size 3 35lb+ (15.9Kg+)

Options
Bamboozles are available in natural bamboo terry colour (creamy) or in aqua, green, orange, yellow and Lilac. They fasten with either Aplix or poppers. The Aplix fastening (like Velcro) nappies have a 'fold back' tab to prevent the Aplix sticking to the rest of the laundry in the wash. Bamboozles can be used as a multi-sized nappy, with most babies requiring Size 1 and Size 2 only before potty training in the day. The front of the size 2 popper-fastening nappy can be folded down to expose another row of poppers which will fit from approximately 10lb (4.5Kg), giving a 'birth to potty' option that will fit many babies from birth through to daytime potty training. Size 3 comes in the Aplix fastening only.

Advantages & disadvantages compared with other shaped nappies Good absorbency and a neat fit for this 'slim Jim' of the Tots Bots family! Bamboo terry has natural antibacterial properties and is eco-friendly to cultivate. Great if you want the benefits of a natural fabric next to your baby which will stay softer than cotton or hemp in hard water areas or with repeated washing. Bamboo terry is relatively slow to dry, though the snap in booster design helps to speed drying up. Choice of fastenings and to use the nappy as a two-size or one-size system.
What else will I need? With this nappy you may choose to use disposable or fleece liners to make solid waste disposal easier and reduce soiling of the nappy. You will probably need boosters for overnight or possibly as your baby gets bigger and does bigger wees. Any of our boosters are suitable. You will need outer covers/wraps.
Suggested wraps The Tots Bots PUL wraps fit beautifully, as do the Tots Bots fleece wraps, which we recommend for night time. Others that work well are the Imse Vimse wraps fit neatly and offer the organic option, Mother-ease Rikki or Air Flow and Nature Babies Classic Covers.
