Who are we?

We are Helen and Mark Burr and live in North Wales, UK. After our daughter Hazel was born in 2001 we wanted to find a nappy system that was kind to the environment but was comfortable for her and convenient to use and wash (as she went to nursery part-time at 6 months old). Since then we have tried lots of systems and brands with 'nappyaholic' dedication, and found a number of reusable nappies that stand out from others in terms of their convenience and performance.

When Joseph was born in 2003 we decided that Helen would take some time out of work to stay at home with our children, and after Christmas 2004 Mark started working full-time on BabyKind too. You might see Hazel and Joe dotted about our site modelling some of their nappies! We became a Limited Company in Novemebr 2006. After giving us the opportunity to test a wide range of potty training aids our children are out of nappies now. All new nappies are tested by experienced nappy users - either local parents of our nappy advisors.

The dedicated people who answer your queries and pack up your orders are Sharon and Owain who joined us in May 2006 and Sue and Amy who joined us in October 2006. Zoe joined us in April 2007 and processes returns. Helen H joined us in 2005 to give her expert advice and organize nappy hire kits.

We set up this business because we are committed to using products that are environmentally friendly and know that there are lots of people out there who are too. However, with the demands of modern life it is not always easy to make the extra effort to use reusable nappies. By making great nappies as available and affordable as possible we hope more people will switch to and stay with reusable nappies.

While researching our products we found lots of other useful or delicious products and can't resist offering our new finds for you and your baby to enjoy. We have thoroughly tested all the products we sell and would not offer any product that we would not use on our own children.
